Trombone Lessons
The overall objective for trombone is the same: to become a skilled performer. Though the trombone (for the most part) does not include playing a bass line and a melody simultaneously, the instrument still requires much work. Students will learn concepts such as how to read music, how play in an artistic manner, how to play scales and arpeggios, how to play using classical and jazz styles, how to play successfully in the low and high ranges, how to notate music, some basics of music theory, and how to take care of the instrument.

Guitar Lessons
Guitar is another instrument used in performance quite often. The objective in learning guitar is to become a proficient musician, being able to play chord shapes, pick strings individually, read music using different methods (chords names, tabs, and sheet music), learn basic theory, and for those that enjoy singing, being able to sing and play guitar proficiently. Like any instrument, guitar takes much practice. |
Voice Lessons
For voice lessons, the primary goal is to become a proficient singer. One of the primary downfalls of singers is that many lack the skills of being able to hear music before singing. For this reason, students will be taught how to recognize and hear pitches before singing them. Voice students will also learn how to read music, how to sing in an artistic manner, how to sing with pleasant vowel sounds, and some basics of music theory.

Songwriting Lessons
Songwriting focuses much on what students have the desire to write which is why the primary goal is to provide the tools needed to compose pleasing songs or pieces. Students will learn concepts such as how to write pleasing melodies and chord progressions, how to use proper voice leading techniques, how to write songs that are marketable, and how to write pleasing rhythms for words.

Music Theory Lessons
Music theory is what many consider the "math of music." If one decides to take music theory lessons, then he can expect to learn concepts such as music notation, intervals, major and minor chords, scales, cadences, inversions, non-chord tones, borrowed chords, secondary dominants, proper voice leading, and much more.
